On behalf of the Greater Lewisville Area Soccer Association (GLASA), we welcome you to participate in the Fall Premier Cup Tournament. Our tournament is for boys and girls teams in the following divisions: U5-U19 Recreational, U7-U10 Academy, and U11-U19 Competitive.

The tournament will take place Friday, November 8th through Sunday, November 10th. Out-of-town teams will NOT be required to play on Friday night.

Hotel Information

A condition of acceptance requires every "out of town" team to utilize one of the sanctioned hotels and book the rooms through Global Connections Inc. (GCI) using their online request system at www.GCITeamTravel.com. Global Connections has worked closely with the local hotels and has secured the best rates possible for this event. Various options will also be available to satisfy team needs and all budgetary considerations.

ALL teams traveling to participate in the tournament can designate a team representative to make the entire team's request online at www.GCITeamTravel.com. GCI has secured tournament room blocks at reduced rates from a wide range of hotels to suit the needs of all participating teams. A list of the hotels can be found online for this specific tournament.

Playing Notes

  • Player and team awards for 1st Place and 2nd Place
  • "Age pure" age groups will be created when possible
  • Gold, Silver, and Bronze skill divisions within an age group will created when possible
  • Non-local teams will NOT be required to play Friday night, unless otherwise requested

Guest Players

  • A guest player is a player you "borrow" from another team to fill a roster spot.  You cannot exceed the roster maximum for your age group.  If the roster maximum for your age group is 18 and you have 16 players on your roster that are going to play, you can only bring 2 guest players even though you are allowed to bring more.
  • A guest player must be on NTSSA or USYS team registered for Fall 2019.
  • A "Guest Player Release" must be signed for each guest player by their parent, releasing coach (whom they normally play for), and receiving coach (whom they are playing with in the tournament).  For a rec player, the form must also be signed by their home association.

Academy Restrictions

  • All academy teams must have either a NTSSA Academy Tournament Roster or US Club Soccer roster
  • The NTSSA Academy Tournament Roster must be signed by a NTSSA home association Registrar
  • US Club Soccer rosters must come printed from US Club Soccer account in SDL or PrimeTime - NO HAND-WRITTEN US Club Soccer rosters
  • PSA, YMCA, and Prestonwood teams are not allowed without NTSSA or US Club Soccer roster
  • Indoor rosters will NOT be accepted
  • Players may NOT play on more than one academy team in the same tournament
  • Medical release on NTSSA Academy Player Registration form or NTSSA Medical Release will be accepted

Tournament Paperwork

This tournament is sanctioned by North Texas Soccer as an Unrestricted Tournament, which means all USYS and US Club Soccer teams can participate. 

ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE UPLOADED TO YOUR TEAMS GOTSOCCER ACCOUNT.

  • North Texas/USYS
    1. Official Team Roster - signed by home association and coach
    2. Guest Player Releases - with ALL required signatures
    3. Medical Acknowledgement Form - we do NOT need each individual medical release form.  Use the single acknowledgement form stating you have them.
    4. Event Check-In List Roster - generated within Gotsoccer for this event.  Needs to be signed by coach or manager.
    5. Academy Teams - each players academy registration form, which also doubles as a medical release.
    6. Travel papers - for USYS teams outside of North Texas
  • US Club Soccer
    1. Official Team Roster
    2. Loan Forms - if players are not on the official roster
    3. Medical Acknowledgement Form - we do NOT need each individual medical release form.  Use the single acknowledgement form stating you have them.
    4. Event Check-In List Roster - generated within Gotsoccer for this event.  Needs to be signed by coach or manager.

Team Check-In

Every team MUST check-in BEFORE their first game to have Game Cards verified.  Check-in is designed to be a quick and easy process for teams that have their paperwork in order and already submitted via Gotsoccer.

More details about times and place will be announced closer to the tournament dates.

Tournament Rules

If inclement weather cancels the tournament prior to start of first scheduled game, a maximum of 50% of the entry fee will be retained by the tournament to cover tournament costs.
