Welcome

2014 Fall Premier Cup Tournament On behalf of the Greater Lewisville Area Soccer Association (GLASA), we welcome you to participate in the 2014 Fall Premier Cup. Our tournament is for boys and girls teams in the following divisions: U5-U19 Recreational, U7-U10 Academy, and U11-U19 Competitive.

The tournament will take place Friday, November 7th, through Sunday, November 9th. Out-of-town teams will NOT be required to play on Friday.

Hotel Information

For this tournament, we require non-local teams to book their room reservations through our travel partner - All Season Travel. This is the same company that the Girls Classic League has partnered with for their non-local teams. This service will provide your team with the most affordable lodging options at the properties nearest to the fields your team will be playing.

Playing Notes

  • Player and team awards for 1st Place and 2nd Place
  • Local teams (especially those whose coach has more than one team) will be expected to play Friday night, unless otherwise requested on the application
  • "Age pure" age groups will be created when possible
  • Gold & Silver skill divisions will be created within an age group, depending on number teams and skill level
  • Non-local teams will NOT be required to play Friday night, unless otherwise requested

Guest Players

  • A guest player is a player you "borrow" from another team to fill a roster spot. You may not exceed the roster maximum for your age group. If the roster maximum for your age group is 18 and you have 16 players on your roster that are going to play, you can only bring 2 guest players even though you are allowed to bring more.
  • A guest player must be on NTSSA or USYS team registered for Fall 2014.
  • A "Guest Player Release Form" must be signed for each guest player by their parent, releasing coach (whom they normally play for), and receiving coach (whom they are playing with in the tournament).
  • No guest players are allowed in the Academy divisions. Teams in Competitive divisions may bring up to 5 and Recreational may bring up to 3

Academy Restrictions

  • All academy teams must have either a NTSSA Academy Tournament Roster or US Club Soccer roster
  • The NTSSA Academy Tournament Roster must be signed by a NTSSA home association Registrar
  • US Club Soccer rosters must come printed from US Club Soccer account in SDL or PrimeTime - NO HAND-WRITTEN US Club Soccer rosters
  • PSA, YMCA, and Prestonwood teams are not allowed without NTSSA or US Club Soccer roster
  • Indoor rosters will NOT be accepted
  • U6 players (and younger) may NOT play on an academy team
  • Players playing on an academy team in a tournament may NOT play on a rec team at the same tournament
  • Players may NOT play on more than one academy team in the same tournament
  • Medical release on NTSSA Academy Player Registration form or NTSSA Medical Release will be accepted
  • Medical releases do NOT have to be notarized

Tournament Check-In

This tournament is sanctioned as an Unrestricted Tournament, which means US Club Soccer teams can participate.

  • NTSSA/USYS
    1. Official Team Roster - signed by home association manager
    2. Guest Player Releases - with ALL required signatures
    3. NTSSA Medical Releases for all players - these do NOT have to be notarized
    4. Six (6) copies of the Game Report with names and jerseys numbers on each
  • US Club Soccer
    1. Official Team Roster
    2. Loan Forms - if players are not on the official roster
    3. Medical Releases for all players - these do not have to be notarized
    4. Six (6) copies of the Game Report with names and jerseys numbers on each
    5. $50.00 fee for insurance coverage. Checks made payable to NTSSA
  • Local Teams
    1. Thursday, November 6th at GLASA office from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
    2. Friday, November 7th at Railroad Soccer Complex from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
  • Non-Local Teams
    1. Friday, November 7th at Railroad Soccer Complex from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
    2. Saturday, November 8th at Railroad Soccer Complex from 7:00 AM or at least one hour before your first game.

Tournament Rules

If inclement weather cancels the tournament prior to start of first scheduled game, a maximum of 50% of the entry fee will be retained by the tournament to cover tournament costs.

  • Guest Releases (U5-U19 Rec and U11-U19 competitive teams only) - with ALL required signatures
