- Divisions of 8 teams or more will have Semi-Finals and a 3rd Place game
- "Age pure" age groups will be created when possible
- Gold, Silver, and Bronze skill divisions within an age group will created when possible

Guest Players
- A guest player is a player you "borrow" from another team to fill a roster spot. You cannot exceed the roster maximum for your age group. If the roster maximum for your age group is 18 and you have 16 players on your roster that are going to play, you can only bring 2 guest players even though you are allowed to bring more.
- A guest player must be on NTSSA or USYS team registered for Spring 2010.
- A "Guest Player Release" must be signed for each guest player by their parent, releasing coach (whom they normally play for), and receiving coach (whom they are playing with in the tournament). For a rec player, the form must also be signed by their home association.
Academy Restrictions
- All academy teams must have a NTSSA Academy Tournament Roster
- The NTSSA Academy Tournament Roster must be signed by a NTSSA home association Registrar
- SDL rosters and NTSSA indoor rosters will not be accepted
- Because academy players are allowed to "float" between teams on a week-to-week basis, there are no guest players. All players must be listed on the NTSSA Academy Tournament Roster
- U8 players (and younger) MAY NOT play on an academy team
- Players playing on an academy team in a tournament MAY NOT play on a rec team at the same tournament
- Medical release on Academy Player Release form will be accepted as medical release for tournament if notarized
