REGISTRATION IS AS FOLLOWS:

Registration for U5-U10

Registration for U5-U10 is May 12 –  July 1st  2008. (a $50.00 late fee will be ADDED from
July  2 –15, 2008 to the registration fee, then $a 75.00 late fee will be ADDED from July 16 on.)
We cannot guarantee a spot on a team during late registration.

U11-U19

Registration for U11-U19 is May 12 –  July 15   2008. (a $50.00 late fee will be ADDED from
July 16 – 30, 2008 to the registration fee, then a $75.00 late fee will be ADDED from July 30 on.)
We cannot guarantee a spot on a team during late registration.
INSTRUCTIONS: (PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY)
PLAY UP

Players may only play up a maximum of two years once they qualify for the minimum age to play soccer. You will need to complete a play up form and turn into the GLASA office at the time of registration.  Register your child in the age group that you are requesting that they play in.      
RELEASES

Players living outside the GLASA territory* will need to obtain a release in order to complete their registration. Releases are good for one year. Fall 2007 through the Spring 2008 soccer year. New players for the Spring of 2008 will need to obtain this release form their home association. Please contact the GLASA office if you have questions on this.

* GLASA territory is Lewisville, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Double Oak, & Bartonville. All other areas must obtain the release from their home association.
Where to register?

Please click on the registration button below. You will be taken to our registration page. Please follow the instructions online to register. If you do not have access to a computer you may register on line at the GLASA office

Proper payment (see player’s age group fee schedule. If playing in an older age bracket please pay the fees for the age bracket you will playing in.)

1. From home - register on line and pay by credit card or check.

2. GLASA office – GLASA has two computers in the front of the office for registration as well.

No credit cards will be accepted in the office except via the computers.

PLEASE NOTE

1. Under 5 & Under 6 players may request to play with a friend if they have never registered with an association. No player Under 7 and above can request a specific player or team and will automatically be placed into the blind player draw. No exceptions.

2. Special requests will only be accepted from a parent(s) and must be in writing and received by registration deadline. The request will be reviewed by the Special Request Committee appointed by GLASA Board of Directors.
Returning Players

You will receive an e-mail before October 28th with your username and password.  The email will have a link to log in and register starting October 28th. Using this link will save you from having to retype in all of your child’s information. If any changes need to be made then please make them before you complete the registration.

* ALL PLAYERS will need to register themselves. * You no longer register through your coach. No birth certificate is necessary for returning players unless you have been contacted by your coach or commissioner that GLASA needs one.
New Players New Players must register either on line or in person at the GLASA office. A copy of your child’s official government issued birth certificate (not a hospital certificate) must be e-mailed, faxed or dropped off to the GLASA office. All Birth Certificate must be in our office by the deadline date, in order for the player to be placed on a team.
Returning Players
to the Player Pool

Any returning player that does not want to return to his team from the fall season may go in to the player pool for his age group. You will need to register to your age group and pick the team Player Pool. There is a $2.00 fee for player pool.

All returned checks will be assessed a $10.00 returned check fee.

New Under 5 and all Mod Under 5 players will pay an extra $20.00 for a uniform.

Team Formation Procedures

The GLASA Board of Directors will consider special requests. Teams will be formed based on age and geographical “school” area if at all possible. Players are placed on teams after the completion of registration. There are three steps in the player placement process:

Returning players – get first priority. They can return to the team they played with the previous season or can go back into the player pool.

New Players-
Under 5 & Under 6 players may request to play with a friend if they have never registered with an association. No player U7 and above can request a specific player or team and will automatically be placed into the blind player draw. No exceptions.

Under 7 and above must go through a blind player pool draw.

Player Pool (includes new players and players requesting a new team) – Placement takes place immediately after the registration deadline. Players will be placed on teams through a blind draw. Every attempt is made for the draw to be based on geographical “school” area but this can not be guaranteed. The number of open spots on existing teams and the number of new teams formed affect team placement.

Special Requests –
